Helpful Homemaking tip...:
Are you in the market for a new front door with great security and maintenance characteristics? If so, then peep some of the newer steel doors available today. These doors are far stronger then fiberglass or wooden doors. A large portion of them are made of heavy gauge galvanized steel on top of a wooden or steel frame. Dense insulation code foamed into place provides a high structural integrity and insulates well. The surfaces on these doors are usually coated with a baked-on polyester or vinyl finish, and often times they are embossed with wood grain patterns. Some even come with a wood-fiber coating that you can stain. High-end models are actually laminated with a true wood veneer.
